How we use business contact details.
Short, because there is not much to it. Last updated 6 October 2026.
Who we are
Warmlist books sales meetings for business clients by email. It is a trading name of BenBnk Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 15071745, registered office 5 Church Hill, Lymington, Hampshire, SO41 0QH), which is the controller of your data. For anything about your data, write to ben@warmlist.co.uk.
What we hold
Business contact details only: your name, job title, company, work email address, and public information about the company such as its website, job adverts and news. We do not hold anything about you as a private individual, and we do not buy consumer data.
Where it comes from
Company websites, Companies House and similar public registers, professional profiles, and business contact databases. Every address is checked before we use it.
Why we use it
To write to people in their business role about something relevant to their company, on behalf of a client or for ourselves. Our legal basis is legitimate interests. We keep volumes small, we write about one specific thing, and we stop the moment you ask. Under UK PECR we send marketing email to corporate subscribers, meaning limited companies, LLPs and public bodies. We do not knowingly email sole traders or partnerships without consent, and if we have got that wrong, tell us and we will remove you.
Opting out
Reply to any email with the word stop, or write to ben@warmlist.co.uk. We will remove you within five working days and add your address to a suppression list so you do not hear from us again, for any client. We never sell or pass on your details.
How long we keep it
Up to twelve months after we last wrote to you, then it is deleted. If you opt out, we keep only your email address, on the suppression list, so we can honour the opt out.
Who else sees it
When we work for a client, emails are sent on their behalf and your reply reaches them when a meeting is booked. The tools we use to find, check and send email process data under contract and only on our instructions.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to us using it. Email us and we will deal with it. If you are not happy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk.
